Volkswagen XL1 ~ Auto Car

Volkswagen XL1 finally introduced the model in the United Kingdom market. The new car is available 30 units are priced starting from 98 515 pounds.

Reporting from Inautonews, Saturday (07/04/2014), the car produced a total of 200 units for the global market, while for the UK only given a quota of 30 units.

Design of the Volkswagen XL1 is a little eccentric. XL1 built with the view to maximize aerodynamics. Interestingly, this car does not have a glimpse of the rear wheels due to be closed by the body.

Meanwhile, the Volkswagen XL1 comes with a weight of 759 kilograms (kg) and supported by the diesel engine capacity of 800 cc two-cylinder combined with electric drive. With a spec that it has, the car can produce a power of 67 horse power (HP) system 7-speed DSG transmission.

The company explains that the XL1 achieve CO2 emissions of 21 grams per km. Questioning the performance, the car can accelerate from zero to 100 km per hour in 12.7 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of 160 km per hour.
